Reysas REIT was established in 2008 by seeing the gap in the field of warehousing in Turkey and went public in 2010 as a subsidiary of Reysas Logistics and Transportation Co. Inc.
Our company, which has a closed area of 183,000 m2 and an issued capital of 170,000,000-TL when it went public, reached a paid-in capital of 500,000,000-TL in 2021 as of the current situation, and together with our ongoing warehouse constructions, approximately 1,000,000 m2 of which is closed, 1,500,000 m2 It has turned into a constantly growing company with approximately 2,500,000 m2 of storage space. Our target for the end of 2022 is to reach 2,500,000 m2 in a closed area as a 1st class warehouse.
While we are serving with 84 warehouses in 13 provinces today, in 2023, we will be serving in the logistics sector with our A-class, technologically equipped warehouses that can provide appropriate service for every product from every sector, in all corners of our country, close to strategic ports and station points.
Our company's 5-star Hilton Hotel with 122 rooms and 192 beds capacity, which was put into operation on an area of 11,000 square meters in Erzincan, and a 5-star Hilton Hotel with 126 rooms and 210 beds on an area of 12,870 square meters, and Erzurum Palandöken, which is planned to be operational in 2022-2023. There is a 5-star Hilton Hotel project with approximately 150 rooms and 300 beds on a plot of 5.169 square meters. In addition, within the same project, our hotel projects continue in Sinop, Samsun, Konya and many cities of Turkey.
Our warehouse investments, which have been going on for the last 10 years, will continue to increase. In addition to these, we will continue to invest in superstructure equipment, wagons, stations and especially in the scope of green logistics in Reysas railway, reducing carbon emissions, generating electricity from solar energy on the roofs of our warehouses and using natural gas in heavy commercial vehicles.
We are the company that produces electricity with solar panels on the roof of the warehouse and put into service the first and largest SPP facility established on the roof in Turkey. Due to the large number of warehouses and the continuation of our warehouse investments, our solar energy investments will continue in 2021 and the following years. In this way, we plan to continue our investments in applications that create additive value, increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
The first phase of Turkey's largest and first Solar Power Plant (GES) installed on the roof, with a total installed power of 850 kWp and an annual production capacity of 1.525,000 kWh, on the roof of our 14,500 m2 warehouse in Torbalı, İzmir, was completed in 2013 and the second phase. We commissioned it in 2014. This facility reduces carbon emissions by 830 tons per year by generating electricity from solar panels. In 2016, we commissioned our 1,048 kWp SPP facility on the roof of our 12,918 m2 warehouse in Adana Yüreğir. The annual production capacity of this facility is 1,800,000 kWh, reducing carbon emissions by 990 tons per year.
At the beginning of 2017, we commissioned our 905 kWp GES facility on the roof of our 9,800 m2 warehouse in Adana Sarıçam. The annual production capacity of this facility is 1.550,000 kWh, reducing 852 tons of carbon emissions per year. At the end of 2017, we commissioned our GES facility on the roof of our 42,483 m2 warehouse in Antalya Serik, with an installed power of 415 kWp, which works off-grid, independent of the grid, only to meet the electricity consumption of the warehouse. In the coming years, we plan to increase the installed power of this facility to 3 MWp and turn it into a grid-connected system. The annual production capacity of our facility in Antalya is expected to be 5,400,000 kWh. In 2018, we commissioned our GES facility with an installed power of 1,058 kWp on the roof of our 14.000 m2 warehouse in Kocaeli Çayırova. The annual production capacity of our facility is 1.375.000 kWh, reducing 756 tons of carbon emissions per year.
In 2020, we commissioned our SPP facilities with a total installed power of 905 MW on the roof of our warehouses 2,7,10,12,15 in Kocaeli Çayırova and our warehouse 4 in Istanbul Tuzla Orhanlı. The annual production capacity of these facilities is 7,052,200 kWh, reducing 3,470 tons of carbon emissions per year. With the recently installed SPP facilities on the roofs of our warehouses, the number of our existing facilities has reached 14 and a power of 15.2 MW, with an annual production capacity of approximately 20.000.000 kWh.
As of 2021, we have 15 GES facilities installed and operating, and the annual production of these facilities is 27,300,000 kWh/year. Our SPP facilities, which are still in the installation phase, are not included in this production amount. We aim to reach an installed power of 30.8 MW in 22 facilities, together with our facilities that will be completed in 2022 and for which new applications have been made, and increase the annual electricity generation amount to 40,400,000 kWh/year. With our SPP facilities of this capacity, we reduce the annual carbon emissions of 19.800.000 kg by meeting the electricity production of all our group companies from solar energy, which is a renewable energy source. We supply all of the electrical energy we consume from solar energy, and we also supply renewable energy to the national grid as consumption surplus generation.

In 2017, our company was evaluated in the category of National Investment by SAHA Rating and was determined as a Long-Term National Rating (A+).
Founded as Turkey's Warehouse, Reysas REIT once again, it became the first company to issue bonds within Real Estate Investment Trusts. Our bond issuance has been used in the investment of warehouse projects, and our company will continue to offer dynamism, professionalism and vision to the sector with its investments.
